Amazon Prime Music

My Amazon Prime subscription just got even better! Amazon added a music streaming service to its list of benefits for Prime subscribers. Amazon Prime Music features more than one million songs, with unlimited, ad-free listening at no extra cost to members.  The interface on the Kindle is amazing and very easy to use. The app for Android needs some work but it is functional.  I love the ability to create playlists and the selection of music is wonderful.

Is the USB disk drive obsolete?

Well no, however, USB disk drives will most likely join the ranks of obsolescence with the 5.25 and 3.5 disks of a few years ago. Even though they are common place today services like Microsoft Onedrive will certainly make them obsolete.

Microsoft Onedrive offers 7 gigabytes of free online storage, free email, and free access to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and One Note. These services are available on virtually any computer, tablet, or smart phone with internet access. You can store your data on your Onedrive in the cloud and access it from anywhere and use Word, Excel, Power Point, and One Note on any PC or Mac with internet access for free. You won’t have to worry about keeping track of your USB disk drive or worse yet, the USB disk drive failing causing you to lose all of your data.

You can purchase more space if you wish and Onedrive is a great place to keep your important data. Last year my wife’s laptop went to “laptop heaven” after a run-in with a two year old little girl and a large glass of milk. I was extremely happy we were using Onedrive to save all of your important photos, video, and import documents. Thankfully, all of our data was safe and sound on Onedrive.
